Originally formed as a joint venture between two established local firms—Stigner Plumbing & Heating, Inc. and John R Holt, Inc.—MSI has grown to become a trusted provider of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and sheet metal services for residential, commercial, and industrial clients, including hospitals and schools. In 2013, MSI expanded its capabilities by acquiring Du-Mont Company of Peoria, adding a sheet metal fabrication shop in Peoria to complement its existing process piping fabrication shop in Galesburg. This allows the company to offer comprehensive services such as roofing, glass and glazing, structural work, and drywall, all performed by qualified union technicians with extensive experience.
